Matthew Wright is one of Britain's most engaging TV journalists. Never afraid to speak his mind he can deliver incisive comment as well good-natured banter and is a highly regarded interviewer and as nailed exclusive interviews with everyone from Dame Elizabeth Taylor to Robert De Niro, Tony Blair to Robbie Williams.

He first found fame as showbiz journalist originally for The Sun but later as columnist with the Daily Mirror through the Brit Pop years, hanging out with the
like of Oasis, his larger than life personality stamping itself all over the paper.
Somehow he found time to help Martine McCutcheon pen her best-selling
autobiography Who Does She Think She Is?

Matthew quit The Mirror in 2000 after five years to launch mykinda-
-place.com, Britain's most successful teen internet portal.

Days after the launch Channel Five made its move, offering
Matthew a five days-a-week talk show and The Wright Stuff
was born, the show was an instant favourite with viewers
looking for something more from daytime TV than items
on how to decorate your living room.
Matthew went on to present Rich And Famous with the late
Caron Keating on prime time ITV1 and is currently developing
a new series about fame with the BBC.
